Top Baby Shows in the UK 2017

Looking for the Top Baby Shows in and around Hertfordshire?  You're in the right place!

Trade shows are a right of passage to all the major events of your life.  Getting Married? Trade show!  Building a house?  Trade show! Having a baby?  Trade show!  I just googled and yes, there is in fact such a thing as a Funeral trade show.

I have spent many hours putting together the list below and actually found less pregnancy trade shows than I thought I would.  If there are more out there that I didn't find, they really need to up their advertising game!

I've tried to keep it within an hour of travel for the big shows and stayed more local for the smaller ones but if you're willing to travel a bit further you'll find a few more out Surry and Essex way.

3rd - 5th March - The Baby Show ExCel London

Let's face it - if you're after the FULL Baby Show experience, The Baby Show is the one to head to.

  • Superb shopping with a huge array of essential baby products from trusted brands as well as the latest innovations

  • Fantastic savings and offers

  • Expert advice from leading baby experts covering hot topics including breastfeeding, weaning, first aid and sleep

There's a Tommee Tippee feeding area with free breast pads and food, a Lidl changing area with free nappies and wipes and a creche for some child free shopping.

These big shows are generally the best for freebies and discounts so try and take someone with strong arms.
The downside - the crowds.  Try and get there early before everyone else nabs all of the best freebies and while there is still room to breathe.  Oh and take food because no one wants to pay those prices!

Tickets:
FRIDAY - £14.45 in advance / £20 on the door
SAT/SUN - £15.45 in advance / £20 on the door
Sometimes people like MadeForMums have discounts so it's worth doing your research!

29th April - Bucks Baby & Toddler Show, Milton Keynes (10am - 3pm)

**If you're at work - don't click on the Home Page for the website below before muting your speakers!**

If you don't fancy heading into London, this one is an easy drive away.
Their website still needs updating but it looks like there will be a few local companies there such as Baby's First Calendar & In Craft Corner as well as well as the more well known Neals Yard, Usborne Books & Waterbabies.

It's obviously not half as big as the London shows but let's face it, it's a lot cheaper and probably a lot less stressful!

On a side note, their Facebook Page is great for funny baby videos and pictures!  I just watched about 10 pregnancy announcements on there!

Tickets:
£3.50 in advance or £4 on the door (cash only).  Children under 16 go free.

13th May - NCT Bump, Baby and Beyond Fair, North Herts College (Hitchin)

NCT are everywhere in the pregnancy and newborn baby world so I figured they must have a baby show.
It took a bit of tracking down but I finally found one at North Herts College in Hitchin.

This is their third year running and you can expect to find lots of local businesses, support and cake.
The entry fee includes entry into a prize draw and there is a free goody bag for the first 100 visitors.

There doesn't seem to be a list of exhibitors but the show is sponsored by Summer Infant, Puddleducks and Tots Play.

Tickets:
£2  (Open to everyone, not just NCT members)

20th - 22nd October - The Baby Show, Olympia London

It's a little early for all the information to be ready for this show yet but it'll be very similar to the show at the Excel earlier in the year.

Expect lots of shopping, offers and advice but also expect big crowds.

Tickets:
Not listed yet but I imagine similar to at the Excel earlier in the year (£15-£20)

4th - 5th November - The Fertility show, Olympia London

Not everyone's journey into pregnancy is an easy one so when I came across The Fertility Show I knew I had to include it.

Exhibitors range from fertility clinics, adoption agencies, fostering, The NHS, sperm banks, therapists, acupuncture, IVF clinics, lawyers - all of the options you can think of when trying to grow your family.

There are also dozens of talks from many of the world’s leading fertility specialists which are available to book to get your questions answered.

Tickets:

Single Day - £12
Two Day - £20
Seminar tickets - £3
Child Tickets: Fertility is a sensitive subject and we do not allow children aged under 16 from attending the show to be respectful of others.

Fulfilment Fee: A £1.75 fulfilment fee will be added per order (does not apply to orders of additional seminar add-ons)

On the door ticket prices:
Entry tickets cost £3 more and seminar tickets £2 more on the door.

If you're after a some second hand bargains, keep your eye out for local Nearly New Sales
