Over the last couple of years I’ve had a few parents reach out to me asking if I’d do their child’s school pictures for them.

Sometimes children go to different schools so can’t get a school photo together. Other times you excitedly receive the proofs from photo day to discover that they’re pulling your least favourite false smile, the hair you spent ages doing that morning resembles some kind of birds nest or they’ve managed to spill lunch down their front.

This year I got one step ahead and planned Back To School Mini Photo Shoots in late August so parents could celebrate their babies starting school or going up to the next year.
This way they got to be there to make sure all uniform was present and correct and there are as many personality filled laughing photos as there are sensible ones.

Here are some of my favourite images. I especially love the ones with the chalk overlay.
